Hi, I’m the mom behind this space!

I’m a full-time corporate professional, a wife, and a proud mom to two energetic little girls. Between a demanding career, school routines, and everyday chaotic family life, I know exactly how hard it can be to find the time and energy to create meaningful experiences together.

Because my job requires frequent travel, I’ve spent years navigating airports, hotel rooms, and time away from my family. Instead of seeing work trips as time apart, I started finding creative ways to turn business travel into family adventures and discovered the products, places, and routines that truly make life easier.

I created The Modern Getaway to share honest, real-life recommendations—from family-friendly hotels and travel guides to toddler travel essentials, school finds, and everyday products that have actually worked for our family. Think of this as a resource from a fellow busy parent who does the research, tests the products, and shares what’s truly worth your time, money, and memories.
